Deer Hunters Take Note!

 Likely the most abused words in Real Estate advertising for recreational property is "Great Trophy Deer Hunting" or "Boone & Crockett Bucks taken yearly". Phrases such as these seem to be included in most advertising these days. Matter of fact, most of those statements are made by Agents that don't even hunt and don't know a 170-class deer from a nice 2-year old.

I certainly am not and don't proclaim to be any better hunter than another. But I will say this, in my 30+ years of bow hunting, having had the opportunity to harvest many P & Y bucks and been fortunate enough to even harvest a couple over the B & C minimum, selling 1,000s of acres of deer ground and owning and building my own whitetail hunting spot, this property might be the best I have ever seen! The owner is an avid bow hunter himself looking to take up roots and head to Iowa or the property would not be for sale. They harvested a 148" deer last year with all other bucks passed on. As Don and I walked this property, we were amazed at the number of turkeys we saw. In February I saw 15 or 16 Gobblers in one bunch and another flock of 40+ birds on a different trip. The farm is laid out well to hunt. The surrounding area was designed by Mother Nature to be perfect whitetail habitat. Come take a look!
